Florence Little

Florence Little, 89, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006.
Mrs. Little was a retired sewer for the old U. S. Shoe Factory in Crothersville for 27 years and a former employee of Morgan Foods Inc. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church of God Austin, where she was a devoted Christian and a member since 1953. She was a kind and generous person in every facet of her life and a lady in the truest sense of the word. Trusting the Lord throughout her life, she took pride in her children and grandchildren and was always there to help. She went home, but left us with all of her love. Her honesty and integrity has made us very proud and she will be in our hearts and cherished memories forever.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris Jean [Ancil] Mahan; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Little on May 19, 1986, as well as, five sons, Garland, Gordon, Lawrence, Paul J. and Luther Little; and several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Covenant Church of God. Burial will take place at Austin Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg and from 10 am until time of service Tuesday at Grace Covenant Church of God.
