Alice E. Lucas

Alice E. Morrow Lucas, 78, of Seymour died at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Lucas was a homemaker and a member of the Christian faith. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 89 in Seymour. Born July 16, 1916, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of John Payne and Mabel Blankenship Payne.
Survivors include five children, Lyle V. Morrow, Mrs. Timothy (Sandra Kay) Chambers and Fames E. Morrow, all of Columbus; Steven Joseph Morrow, Seymour and Richards L. Morrow, Scottsburg; two sisters, Virginia Mutter, Indianapolis; and Rosa Lee Haag, Seymour; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildern.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dean Morrow; two brothers, James Payne and Roy Payne; and a grandson.
The Rev. Paul Martin will conduct services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemeteryy, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Jackson County Hospice.
