Elizabeth June (Gribbons) Lucas
1942 - 2009 
Elizabeth June Lucas, 66, Seymour, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at The Waters of Seymour.
Mrs. Lucas was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
Born Dec. 19, 1942, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Foster and Frances Burton Gribbons, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 25, 1967, in Columbus, she married Rex L. Lucas Sr., who preceded her in death May 28, 2003.
Survivors include daughters, Joann (Tim) Wasson, Brenda (Rick) Chastain, Kathy (John) Bruner and Rebecca (Pat) Fitch; son, Rex (Nikki) Lucas Jr.; sisters, Helen (James) Turner, Mary Hill and Marge Gribbons; brothers, Ray (Vicky) Gribbons and John Gribbons; grandchildren, Sheila, R.T. and Kaleb Wasson, Terry Wayne and Jacob Smith, Patricia and Rachel Fitch, Celeste Lucas, Nikki Lucas, Katie, Krystal and Tony Lamphire and Joel Kelsey.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Gribbon Lucas, and sisters, Carol Vanarsdale, Judy Fordyce and Linda Gribbons.
The Rev. Bruce Cochran will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
