Seymour Daily Tribune Helen Camille Lucas August 2, 2006 Helen Camille Lucas, 98, formerly of Brownstown, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2006, at the Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. Mrs. Lucas had worked as a secretary for several years for the A.L. Lucas Insurance office in Brownstown. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star 264 and was one of the first initiates in Beta Mu Chapter of Psi Iota Xi. She was well-known in the community as a talented artist. Born March 25, 1908, in Brownstown, she was a daughter of Allan and Orpha (Lockman) Lucas, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include one brother, Robert James Lucas, Gallatin, Tenn.; two sisters, Aline (Lucas) Reynolds, Brownstown, and Marjorie (Lucas) Stabo, Rolla, Mo. The Rev. Jack Shake will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church.
