Kenneth Charles Lucas
Kenneth Charles Lucas, 66, Seymour, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.
Mr. Lucas worked at Thompson Dairy for 30 years and then at Rollex. He enjoyed coon hunting and farming.
Born Feb. 11, 1940, in Jackson County, he was a son of Herschal and Mary (Allman) Lucas, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include three children, Herschal and Mary Lucas, Seymour, Harold Lucas, Brownstown, and Mike and Pauline Pletcher, Alvin, Texas; three grandchildren, “Jimmy” Lucas, Seymour, John Dylan Shafer, Columbus, Lyndsay Rashelle Estes, Alvin, Texas; four sisters, Bertha and Elmer Carr, Brownstown, Mary and Kenneth Vierling, Seymour, Wilma and Alan Allman, North Vernon, and Goldie and Johnny Dykes, Seymour.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Jane Lucas; one daughter, Diana Lucas, one granddaughter, Angel Estes; and one nephew, Scott Allman. The Rev. John Hilbert will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Acme Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
