1953 - 2009 
Randall D. "Randy" Lucas, 56, Seymour, passed away at 4:16 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at his home.
Born March 9, 1953, in Columbus, he was the son of Wilbur E. and Kathryn J. Ferguson Lucas. He graduated from Columbus North High School in 1971, where he was active in FFA. Randy was married to Teresa Ann Spiehler on Oct. 2, 1971, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Waymansville. He loved to read and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Waymansville, since 1969, and served on various boards and as an usher.
Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife of 38 years; one son, Eric Lucas, and his grandson, Aaron Lucas, both of Seymour; a brother, Darrell (Mary) Lucas, Columbus; two sisters, Sandra (Scotty) Ayers, Seymour, and Debra (Claude) Davis, Bedford; two sisters-in-law, Pearl Lucas, Seymour, and Barbara Lucas, Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roger, Clifford and Dennis Lucas; and his stepmother, Lottie Dewar Lucas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Waymansville. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
