Dewey F. Mails
2015 Sixth

Dewey F. Mails, 77, 2015 Sixth, died at 9"50 a.m. January 29 at the Columbus Nursing home. He had been in ill health several years.

Mails was born Sept. 3, 1898, in Jackson County to William and Elizabeth Mails. He married the former Beatrice Wilbur October 29, 1936, and she preceded him in death Dec. 12, 1975.

He formerly was employed at Reeves Pulley and Arvin Industries, Inc.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty and Deloris, both of California; and a brother, Bert Mails, for whom no address was available.

A brother and a sister preceded him in death.

SERVICES

Dewey F. Mails

Funeral services for Dewey F. Mails, 77, 2015 Sixth, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Reed and Jewell Funeral home by the Rev. James Stout. Burial was at Garland Brook cemetery. Mails died Thursday at the Columbus Nursing home.

Pallbearers were Paul Waterman, Carl Knapp, Kenneth and Arthur Wilbur and Robert and Mark Williams.
