Seymour Daily Tribune April 18, 2002 Mary Carlene Martin Mary Carlene Martin, 55, Freetown, died at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at her residence. She had been ill for several years. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Easyville Church of Jesus Christ. Born March 13, 1947, in Medora, she was a daughter of Raymond E. Weir and Luella Jane (Ault) McCory, who both preceded her in death. In June 1986, in Las Vegas, Nev., she married Thomas Martin Jr. and he survives. She also is survived by a son, John (Shelby) Soladine, Brownstown; two daughters, Karen (John) Hinton, Crothersville, and Melody Harris, Seymour; three brothers, Michael Weir, Medora, Larry Weir, Seymour, and Tom McCory, Brownstown; six sisters, Marilyn (IJ) Chadwell and Judy (William) Soladine, both of Freetown, Shirley Arnold, Ocala, Fla., Phyllis Mungle, Greenwood, and Teresa (Barry) Cutter and Cathy (Don) Roberts, both of Brownstown; and seven grandchildren, Kortnie A. Soladine, Kinzie J. Soladine, Klint J. Soladine, Hillary B. Hinton, Hayden E. Hinton, Paizley L. Soladine and Whitley N. Harris. She also was preceded by a daughter, Pam Chadwell; a granddaughter, Andrea; and two brothers. The Rev. Jean Pogue will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until; time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
