Seymour Daily Tribune February 16, 2007 Zola Martin Zola Martin, 79, Seymour, died at 10:50 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center. Mrs. Martin attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Seymour. Born in Sizerock, Ky., on April 15, 1927, she was the daughter of Chloe Gibson and Leonard Collins, both of whom preceded her in death. In August of 1948, she married Paul Elkins, and in April of 1982, she married Lowell E. Martin, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Pauline (Willis) Kilgas, Linda Wayt and Mary Louise (Milland) Ray; two brothers, Earl (Margo) Collins, and Oakley (Joy) Collins; four sisters, Olza (Albert) Bernhadt, Oda (Lanny) Toomer, Audrey (Don) Preble, and Darlene (Nickey) Stevens; seven grandchildren, Jennena, Miles, Ryan, Rebekah, Rusty, Adam and Cloie; and 10 great-grandchildren, Kandace, Destinee, Alexzander, Jared, Kebre, Griffin, Koleton, Keyeddton, and Kyan, Kaylin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Collins; and a great grandchild Jakob. Kevin Bell will conduct funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel. Family visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the public from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be give to the donor's choice.
