Funeral Services Held For William McFadden

Funeral services for William A. McFadden, 76, of North Vernon, who died in surgery at Schneck Memorial Hospital here Tuesday afternoon, were conducted Thursday morning from the Dowd Funeral Home, North Vernon, with the Rev. Mr. Listenberger, of the Church of the Nazarene, in charge. Burial was in Beech Gove Cemetery, Muncie. He had been admitted to the hospital September 4 for medical treatment.

Mr. McFadden was employed as custodian at the North Vernon Presbyterian Church. The widow, Mrs. Chloe McFadden, survives. During his long life he made a wide circle of close friends and acquaintances, who mourn his death.

Besides the widow, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Russell Barlett, of North Vernon; one brother; two sisters, and several grandchildren.
