Joseph Patrick “Pat” McIntire

Joseph Patrick “Pat” McIntire, 67, Tunnelton, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 1, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. McIntire retired from Seymour Tubing and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Born Jan. 20, 1939, in Jennings County, he was the son of Emerson and Mary M. (Arbuckle) McIntire, both of whom preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mary M. (Jess) Coolbaugh, and Tina M. (Scott) Shields, all of Virginia; one son, Joseph P. McIntire, Virginia; his former wife, Audrey Fisher McIntire, Virginia; four grandchildren and one brother, Johnny Ray Miller.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Miller; one sister, Carrie Mae McIntire and one brother, William McIntire.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in North Carolina. 
There will be no visitation.
