MCKAIN - Mrs. Ida McKain, wife of Andrew J., died of consumption on Thursday, March 9, 1899, at 11 p.m. aged 25 years, 11 months and 10 days. The funeral services were conducted at the M.E. Church by Rev. Church at 3 p.m. Saturday. She was a model woman, a kind and loving wife and mother and respected by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and two children, aged respectively 7 years and 15 months, who have the sympathy of the community.
