The Tribune Seymour, Indiana September 9, 2012 Virginia Faye Mikel 1927-2012 Virginia Faye Mikel, 85, of Seymour passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012, in Scottsburg at The Waters. Mrs. Mikel was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a homemaker. Born August 16, 1927, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Charles and Clara (Tidd) Muster. On November 13, 1944, in Jefferson County, she married Richard Mikel, who preceded her in death on March 25, 1991. Faye is survived by her children, Richard D. "Dick" (Betty) Mikel, Nancy Likens, and Donna Sue (Gary) Greathouse; six grandchildren, Troy Sage, Stephanie Dailey, Dana Butler, Matt Bruemmer, Jimmy Lazzell and Jason Lazzell; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one great-grandson, Bryan Joseph Sage; brother, Ervin Muster; sisters, Thelma Specter, Louise Franklin, Betty Abner and Marie Isaacs. The Revs. Ralph Blomenberg, Philip Bloch and James Rodriguez will conduct funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
