Seymour Daily Tribune May 20, 2002 Laura E. Miller Laura E. Manion Miller, 77, Indianapolis, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Manuel High School, Indianapolis. She retired in 2000 from Severns and Bennett Elder Law Attorneys, Indianapolis. She was a past matron and 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Greenwood 390, and an advocate for elder law issues. Born Feb. 1, 1925, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Frank and Clora Hamilton Manion, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Paul F. Miller, Indianapolis, two sons, Vernon A. (Laura) Miller and Russell W. Miller, both of New Hampshire; a daughter, Susan L. (Don) Stowers, Indianapolis; a brother, Kenneth Manion, Franklin; two sisters, Marjorie McAllister and Mary Chance, both of Indianapolis; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The Rev. Carol Fritz will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Singleton and Herr Mortuary, Indianapolis. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and/or the Shriner’s Hospital Burn Unit.
