Seymour Daily Tribune Betty L. Milligan August 21, 2006 Betty L. Milligan, 76, Heritage House, Seymour, and formerly of Medora, died at 1:24 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Milligan graduated from Medora High School in 1947. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness and was a homemaker. Born Oct. 26, 1929, in Medora, she was a daughter of Murrell E. Phillips and Lillie Durham Phillips, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Harvey Milligan, who survives in Sparksville. Other survivors include two sons, Harry Milligan, Medora, and Rick Milligan, Salem; one daughter, Gloria Wallace, Florida; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Fergus Phillips, Brownstown, Rex Phillips, Seymour, Larry Phillips, Tennessee, Tab Phillips, and Randy Phillips, both of Medora; five sisters, Maxine Reed, Mitchell, Joann Burgan, Seymour, Faye Sowers, Medora; Sue Dixon, Seymour, and Wanda Brock, Medora. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Phillips. Minister Robert Edinger will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will take place at Dixon Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
