Seymour Daily Tribune January 14, 2002 Jerry K. Milroy Jerry K. Milroy, 56, Trafalgar, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at his home. He had been ill for two and a half months. Mr. Milroy was employed for 18˝ years by Davidson Industries as a saw operator/maintenance. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, and was a 1963 graduate of Seymour High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and National Defense Medal. Born July 30, 1945, in Indianapolis, he was a son of Jay K. Milroy and Olga V. Moritz. On Aug. 12, 1983, he married Brenda Sanders Milroy, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Mathew T.K. Milroy, Trafalgar; two daughters, Krissy (Johnny) Atwood and Jodie Harless, both of Franklin; a brother, Toby V. Milroy, Crothersville; a half brother; four sisters, Susan “Susie” (Grant) Graves, Seymour, June (Ed) McCullough, Kokomo, Sally (Gary) Kelly, New Albany, and Priscilla Grant, Austin; six grandchildren; and an uncle, Everett “Hap” Moritz. The Rev. David McClean will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, Ind. 135 Chapel in Greenwood. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood.
