Seymour Daily Tribune Sharon Louanne Mize May 26, 1945 – July 15, 2006 Sharon Louanne Mize, 61, Elizabethtown, died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab Center, Columbus. Ms. Mize was a member of Hope Apostolic Church in Columbus and had previously attended Seymour Christ Temple for many years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spoiling all the children in the family, playing music and worshipping God. She took great pride in caring for her mother for several years of convalescence. Born May 26, 1945, in Seymour, she was a daughter of the Rev. Homer Clyde and Fern Henderson Mize, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include two brothers, Pat Mize, Georgia, and Gary Mize, Scipio; one sister, Wanda Mejean, Seymour; one niece, Susan Lykins, Elizabethtown and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Mize and Mike Mize and two sisters, Daisy Mobley and Bonnie Cross. Pastor Dennis Allman and Pastor Dale Goddard will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Seymour Christ Temple, the American Heart Association, Bartholomew County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
