Seymour Daily Tribune December 13, 2006 Tyler James Monroe June 23, 2002 - Dec. 11, 2006 Tyler James Monroe, 4, Scottsburg, died at 12:58 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Tyler attended preschool at Kidsplace in Scottsburg. He enjoyed NASCAR racing with his favorite driver being Jimmie Johnson. He also enjoyed watching his daddy race dirt cars, watching the Wiggles, Mickey Mouse, and his dog "Sugar Bear." He loved the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. He loved going to Disney World and Sea World this past year with his family. Born June 23, 2002, in Seymour, he was the son of James A. and Natalie (Williams) Monroe, both of whom survive in Scottsburg. Other survivors include a brother, Bryce A. Monroe, Scottsburg; maternal grandmother, Paula Williams, Westport; maternal grandparents, Mark and Dawn Williams, North Vernon; maternal great grandmother, Betty Williams, North Vernon; maternal great grandparents, Frank and Mary Jean Taylor, North Vernon; maternal great great grandmother, Josephine Eder, North Vernon; paternal grandparents, Melissa and Tim Perry, Madison, Mark and Alice Keith, Austin, and Gary Weisman, Crothersville, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and great uncles. He was preceded in death by paternal great-great grandparents, James and Violet Monroe; paternal great-great grandfather, Henry Eder; maternal great-grandfather, James Williams; and maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Pauline Taylor. Pastor Marvin McIntosh will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family - James A.
