Seymour Daily Tribune April 17, 2002 Reba B. Moore Reba B. Moore, 81, North Vernon, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Moore was a 1940 graduate of Scipio High School. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, retiring after 23 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Columbus, and attended Scipio Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Oak Grove Cemetery Board and enjoyed gardening, sewing and flowers. Born Feb. 7, 1921, in Grammer, she was a daughter of Charles Roscoe and Effie Mote Roscoe, who both preceded her in death. On Aug. 22, 1941, she married Virgil Edexter Moore, and he preceded her in death Aug. 14, 1970. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Crim, Westport; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Ann Settles, Fort Charlotte, Fla.; a grandson, Daryl Crim, Columbus; and a great-grandson, Todd Crim, Columbus. She also was preceded in death by a stepson, William Wade Moore; six brothers, Sherman Rascoe, Harold Storm, Fred Ward, Glenn Roscoe, Lloyd Roscoe and Paul Duane Roscoe; and two sisters, Dorothy Carson and Beryl Hundley. The Rev. Mitch Coggin will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Scipio. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery or Hospice of Jennings County through the funeral home.
