Beatrice Morgan, 79, Scottsburg, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center, Clarksville.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Church of God. She was a former co-owner of the old Northside Auto Parts and Used Cars in Scottsburg and also was the co-owner of the old Northside Grocery.
Born Feb. 22, 1927, in Chattanooga, Tenn., she was a daughter of William Roach and Ida White Roach, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Russell B. Morgan, who died May 27, 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Morgan and Donald Morgan, both of Seymour; four daughters, Pat Balmer, New Albany, Nelda Aaron, Charlestown, and Donna Little and Wilma Baker, both of Jeffersonville; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lee Morgan, and a daughter, Margaret Brown.
The Rev. Conrad Moorer will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will take place at Scottsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
