Seymour Daily Tribune January 9, 2002 Norman E. Morris Norman E. Morris, 71, Seymour, died at 12:41 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. He was a retired truck driver and a genealogist. He had lived most of his life in Jackson and Jennings counties. Born July 19, 1930, in Hayden, he was a son of Arthur A. Morris Sr. and Martha Geraldine Smith Morris. On Nov. 11, 1955, in Seymour, he married Geraldine M. Crane, who survives in Seymour. Other survivors include three sons, William A. (Beverly) Morris, Norman, Robert E. (Marilyn) Morris, Hagerstown, Md., and Michael D. Morris, Seymour; a daughter, Patsy J. (Greg) Brack, Connersville; six grandchildren, Nicole (Michael Jr.) Hunsucker, Jennifer Morris, Arianne Nalewyko, Amber Huntley, Autumn Allen and Benjamin A. Morris; two brothers, Arthur A. (Lottie) Morris Jr., Smithsburg, Md., and Steve (Norena) Morris, Kokomo; seven sisters, Evelyn (Tom) Kelser, Kokomo, Patty Ledger, Dawsonville, Ga., Charlene (Ray) Luckey, Osgood, Naomi Ruth (Jerry) Gootee, Bedford, Linda (Paul) Hawk, Washington, Faith (Roger) Thompson, Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Rose (Orville) Flowers, Waleska, Ga.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The Rev. Michael Stipp will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
