Seymour Daily Tribune January 15, 2007 Ruth Dennison Moser May 3, 1901 - Jan. 13, 2007 Ruth Dennison Moser, 105, of Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford, and formerly of Mitchell, died at 8:28 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford. Mrs. Moser was owner and operator (with her husband) of Mitchell Pastry Shop for 15 years, and also worked for the Green Thumb program at Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mitchell; Women's Missionary Circle; and Mitchell Senior Citizens. Born May 3, 1901, in Grayson County, Ky., she was a daughter of Aaron Thomas and Sally Morrison Dennison, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 24, 1920, in Hawesville, Ky., he married Melvin Moser, who died March 12, 1977. Survivors include a son, William (Maxine) Moser, Laurinburg, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Thelma Thomas, Mitchell; 12 grandchildren, Susan Webster, Bedford, Mark Webster, Speedway, Treva Williams, Sharon Hensley and Tammy Horner, all of Tennessee, Sherri Moser, Scott Moser and Joey Moser, all of North Carolina, and Carol Moser, Peggy Owens, Anita Root and Debra Moser, all of Seymour; 18 great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren,; four great-great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Erma Moser and Helen Webster and her husband, Rex; three sons, Marion Moser, Robert Moser and his wife, Marilyn, and one son in infancy; a grandson, Doug Webster; a granddaughter (in infancy); three brothers; and nine sisters. Brother Allen Burris will conduct funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford. Burial will take place at Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
