Rita Knott Schneck Nale
Rita Knott Schneck Nale, 74, Seymour, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Nale was a graduate of Wabash High School in 1950. For more than 20 years she worked in optometry offices. She spent 45 years as a volunteer with the Hospital Guild. Mrs. Nale was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Freeman Field Flying Association. She was an avid gardener and aviation fan.
Born Aug. 31, 1932, in Wabash, she was a daughter of Walter and Olvenia Plum Frehse, both of whom preceded her in death. Her first husband, William C. Knott, preceded her in 1988. She later married Glen Schneck, who preceded her in 1996. In January 1999, she married Frank Nale, who survives.
Other survivors include her children, Dennis "Craig" Knott, Seymour, and Cathy Kell, San Diego; two grandchildren, Trenton Knott, San Rafael, Calif., and Kellee Knott, Boulder, Colo.; four stepchildren, Larry Schneck, Indianapolis, Greg Schneck, North Carolina, Doug Nale, California, and Robert Nale, Arizona; seven stepgrandchildren; and a brother, Fred Frehse, Peru.
The Rev. Mike Seany will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
