Seymour Daily Tribune May 11, 2002 Lena Loretta Greathouse Neal Lena Loretta Greathouse Neal, 99, Houston, died at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Neal was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Borchers and had been a homemaker throughout her life. She had lived in Jackson County since 1905. Born April 29, 1903, in Aschen, Germany, she was a daughter of Frederick and Sophia Cluster Engleau. She married Orval L. Greathouse and then George A. Neal. Both preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Betty L. Neal, Houston; seven stepchildren, John Neal and Marilyn Neal, both of Houston, Lilly Mae Ehringer, Clearspring, Sarah Root and Maxie Bequeret, both of Freetown, Judy Wieneger, Florida, and Ruby Bunton, Missouri; six grandchildren; 43 step-grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded by a son, Lawrence Greathouse; four stepchildren, Floyd Neal, Carilyn Neal, Charles Neal and Mary Jane Burdine; two grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Engleau and Fred Engleau; and three sisters, JoHanna Meyer, Fredericia Willman and Sophia Pauline Terkhorn. The Rev. George Greathouse will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Houston Cemetery, Houston. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 230 E.
