Albert Eugene "Sonny" Niewedde
1934 - 2009 
Albert Eugene "Sonny" Niewedde, 74, Crothersville, passed away at 4:32 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mr. Niewedde attended Crothersville Church of the Nazarene when it was located on Seymour Road. He enjoyed participating in hymn sings, going to Wal-Mart and listening to George Jones. Sonny's dream was to own a PT Cruiser.
Born Aug. 11, 1934, in Seymour, he was the son of George H. Albert Niewedde and Claris L. Donahue Niewedde, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include two brothers, Fred (Bernadine) Niewedde, Crothersville, and Donald "Super" Niewedde, Austin. He was a special uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to several nieces and nephews.
His sister and caregiver, Donna Hensley, preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 2008.
The Rev. Ralph Hillenburg will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
