Seymour Tribune Dorothy Mae (Lynch) Nolan 1941 - 2008 Dorothy Mae Nolan, 67, Seymour, passed away at 4:25 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, in the loving care of her family. Mrs. Nolan was a beautician for many years and owned her own business, Lakewood Beauty Salon. She was all about her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and spending time with her husband at the cabin. Born in Jackson County, on April 27, 1941, she was the daughter of Edward and Catherine Allman Lynch, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 27, 1957, she married Delbert H. Nolan in Seymour, who survives. Other survivors include three children, Delbert Eugene "Gene" (Marie) Nolan, Tammy Lynnette (Joe) Sage and David Brian Nolan; nine grandchildren, Brad, Miranda, Kelly, Dereck, Michael, Erica, Cory, Dylan and Devon; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Dean (Carol Ann) Lynch and Edward Dale Lynch. She was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Lorene Johnson and three brothers, Max, Billy and Louis Lynch. The Rev. Connie Barr will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at First Marion Baptist Cemetery with a Voss dove release following. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
