Seymour Daily Tribune Ervin H. Norman Oct. 10, 1918 - Dec 1, 2004 Ervin H. Norman, 86, Spokane, Wash., died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec 1, 2004, at Sullivan Park Care Center, Spokane. Mr. Norman was a tech sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was of the Christian faith and was a retired fertilizer and chemical salesman. He was a graduate of Clearspring High School. Born Oct. 10, 1918, at Norman, he was a son of Elmer and Osa Charles Norman, who preceded him in death. he married Maxine C. Christie Jan. 7, 1943, at Clearspring, and she also preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons, Brad Norman, Kettering, Ohio, and Dennis Norman, Liberty Lake, Wash.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Morris, Frobel and Charley Norman, and five sisters, Virginia Moran, Beaulah Bowles, Marvel Swango, Jewel Gerstner and Dorothy Hawkins. Ronnie Plumer will conduct funeral servies at 1 p.m. Monday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, with interment at Liberty Cemetery, Norman. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Viietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from noon until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church or Liberty Cemetery Fund.
