Fern E. Patrick
Fern E. Patrick, 87, Seymour, passed away at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Lutheran Community Home.
Mrs. Patrick was a homemaker. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 34.
Born in Farmersburg, on Sept. 12, 1920, she was the daughter of John and Mae (Lucas) Jewell, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 17, 1941, she married Donald E. Patrick, who preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1995.
Survivors include her children, Mike Patrick and Rick (Nancy) Patrick; daughter-in-law, Amy Patrick Dowen; grandchildren, Sean Patrick, Evan (Amanda) Patrick, Rikki (Pat) McGuire, Derek (Kara) Patrick, Dustin (Kaci) Patrick, Whitney (Brandon) Taskey and Darin Patrick; five great-grandchildren, Emma and Ella Patrick, Braden and Lilly McGuire and Payton Patrick; and a brother, Harry (Avanelle) Jewell.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Patrick; brothers, John and Robert Jewell; and sister, Virginia Cottom.
Pastor Darrel Geitz will conduct funeral services at 7 p.m. today at Lutheran Community Home.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of service today at Lutheran Community Home.
An Eastern Star Service will be held at the Mausoleum Chapel at the Rose Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, at 1 p.m. Saturday.
