Seymour Daily Tribune April 6, 2002 Brenda Sue Percifield Brenda Sue Percifield, 43, North Vernon, died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Percifield was a registered nurse. She was a 1976 high school graduate in Indianapolis and a 1983 graduate of Indiana University. She was employed for seven years at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, retiring in 1998 as a charge nurse in the coronary critical care unit. She was a member of North Vernon AmVets Post 7 and enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and painting. Born Aug. 22, 1958, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Charles N. Young and Dora Saylor, who survive in Indianapolis. On Jan. 30, 1999, in North Vernon, she married Frank Percifield and he survives in North Vernon. She also is survived by three sons, Jacob Nichols, Indianapolis, and Andrew Hooker and Matthew Percifield, both of North Vernon; and a sister, Debbie Ewing, Indianapolis. The Rev. Gilbert Schreiber of First Christian Church will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, North Vernon. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to an Indianapolis drug abuse program through the funeral home.
