Gertrude Martin Peters

Gertrude C. Martin Peters, 82 of Greewood died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, at Greenwood Village.
Mrs. Peters was a bookkeeper for 35 years for Police and Firemans Insurance. She retired in 1974.
She is a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Greenwood, where she was active in ladies church activities.
Born June 20, 1912, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Gottlib and Wilhelmina Brinkman Martin. She married Paul Gerkensmeyer, and he is deceased. She then married Virgil Peters, and he is deceased.
Other survivors include four sister, Lucille Clark, Freida Trefz, Lydia Anderson and Esther Mohr; three step-daughters, Janet Sue Kloecker, Darlene Johnson and Anita Seiler; seven step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shirley Brothers, Thompson Road, Gary R. Grose Chapel, Greenwood, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
