The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Wednesday, January 31, 1900 Page 2 Obituary Emma Plummer was born August 4, 1875; was married December 25, 1893, to Luther Harrell; to them were born one son and one daughter but the son died in infancy. Mrs. Harrell died of quick consumption January 8, 190, after a lingering illness of typhoid fever for about five months. The funeral services were conducted by Elder W.B. Chrisler, of Bedford. Burial at the new cemetey of the Church of Christ at Weddleville. She united with the Christion church at an early age and lived a faithful member until the death angel claimed its own. It seems hard that one so young should be called when the future with all the possibilities had just begun to unfold itself to view. But God knows best. He moves in bysterious ways His wonders to perform. Emma anticipated her death and with fortitude and alacrity made many thoughtful requests when told that she must die. She said that she was not afraid to die, that she was ready to meet her Savior. The words of Jesus, "I am the resurrection and the life," were precious words to her.
