Seymour Daily Tribune March 1, 2002 Almeda Rose Price Almeda Rose “Medie” Price, 47, North Vernon, died at 5:29 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Price attended Loudon County High School in Leesburg, Va., and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church in North Vernon. She enjoyed working on her computer. Born April 13, 1954, in Leesburg, Va., she was a daughter of Homer Ralph Marion and Mildred Inez Robinson Marion. She married Russell Price, who survives in North Vernon. Other survivors include two sons, Michael Price and Daniel Price, both of North Vernon; five brothers, Leon Marion and Ronald Marion, both of North Vernon, and Victor Marion, Frank Marion and Robert Marion, all of Bethlehem, N.H.; and three sisters, Norma Coats, Salem, Phyllis Comer, Scottsburg, and Carol Valentine, Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Sue Hardin. The Rev. Bob Weeks will conduct services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Little York. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given through the funeral home to the American Diabetes Association.
