Seymour Daily Tribune April 1, 2002 Emelia L. Price Emelia L. Price, 105, of Seymour, died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2002, at the Lutheran Community Home. Mrs. Price was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Jonesville and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was a homemaker. She was born Dec. 18, 1896, in Bartholomew County, a daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Probst Schuette. On Nov. 30, 1919, in Jonesville, she married Louis Price and he died Oct. 9, 1973. Survivors include a son, Louis Price Jr., Jonesville; two daughters, Mildred Daab, Seymour, and Bernice Arnholt, Columbus; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by 10 brothers, Fred, Ernest, Chris, Harry, George, Herman, Gustav, Emil, Carl and Willie Schuette; and two sisters, Lena Pardick and Minnie Evans. The Rev. Edgar Keinath will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jonesville. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel, Columbus, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 125th Anniversary Fund or the cemetery fund.
