Seymour Daily Tribune Gerald Leroy Prince September 8, 2006 Gerald Leroy Prince, 59, of Seymour, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at 11:05 p.m. at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. His parents were Clarence and Dortha Hall Prince, who both precede him in death. He was born Aug. 1, 1947, in Seymour. Mr. Prince was employed with Valeo Sylvania in Seymour for seven years. He had also worked for Cummins Engine Company for 12 years. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 1925 in Seymour. He was survived by a companion, Eva Divine; three nieces, Cathy Monroe, Nancy Menne and Deborah Elliott; a nephew, David Shelton; seven grandnieces and nephews; seven stepchildren, Stephanie Griffin, Andrea Livesay, Scott Divine, Harold Burke, Allan Burke, Kathy Staggs and Walter Burke. He was preceded by a brother, James Robert Prince; two sisters, Connie Elliott and Clarice McIntosh; and a stepson, Rickie Burke. Friends may call at Voss Chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 12:30 p.m. Saturday until the 1:30 p.m. funeral service, which will be conducted by the Rev. D. G. Morris and Rev. Chris Livesay. Burial will be at Smallwood Cemetery, where full military graveside rite will be conducted by the V.F.W., American Legion, DAV and Vietnam Veterans associations, all of Seymour. Memorials may give to the Smallwood Cemetery Association.
