Seymour Tribune Helen Annabell (Fleenor) Prince 1920 - 2009 Helen Annabell Prince, 88, Seymour, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Prince worked at Morgan's Packing Co. on the line and then in the office. She really liked the office. She also worked at Seymour Shoe Factory, the Crothersville Post Office in the office, then at the Crothersville License Branch for 16 years before retiring in 1982. She was a member of Crothersville United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher. She also was past president of Gulf View Colonies in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. She was a den mother for the Crothersville Cubbies Boy Scout Troop. She loved reading, knitting, quilting, crocheting and her rose garden. Born April 6, 1920, in Benton County, she was the daughter of Jess and Laura Alice Bennett Fleenor, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Glen Thomas Prince on Aug. 2, 1941, at Crothersville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Glen Thomas Prince; a son, Glen Edward Prince, Hoopeston, Ill.; four grandchildren, Alissa M. Stickles, Seymour, Glen David Prince II, Crothersville, Deanna Nichole McKinney, Brownstown, and Michael Douglas Prince, Crothersville; five great-grandchildren, Brent Allen King, Ledger Redmon Stickles, Mackey Nicole King, Zoey Faith Prince and Lilly Grace Prince; a sister, Kathleen Alice Perry, Indianapolis; and three brothers, Robert Edward Fleenor and Darrell Russell Fleenor, both of Indianapolis, and Gerald Lee Fleenor, Melbourne, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Ray Prince; a sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Johnson; and two brothers, Paul Eugene Fleenor and one brother in infancy. Pastor James Higdon will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
