Seymour Daily Tribune May 24, 2002 Mildred L. Pruett Mildred L. Pruett, 90, Deputy, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Scott County Healthcare, Scottsburg. Mrs. Pruett was a homemaker, and a member of Alpha Baptist Church, Deputy. Born Nov. 13, 1911, in Jefferson County, she was a daughter of Samuel Harrison Eacret and Sarah A. Peacock Eacret, who both preceded her in death. On Aug. 11, 1932, she married Roy L. Pruett and he died May 25, 1992. She is survived by four sons, Roger W. Pruett, Walter H. Pruett and Paul D. Pruett, all of Austin, and James L. Pruett, Lexington; three daughters, Sadie K. Pruett and Doris E. Carnes, both of Scottsburg, and Sharon A. Reynolds, Austin; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded by a son, Richard L. Pruett on Sept. 13, 1961; a daughter, Adah McIntosh, Jan. 19, 1996; a brother, Maurice Eacret; and two sisters, Crystal DeWeese and Edna Pruett. The Rev. Jay Blythe will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg. Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
