Seymour Daily Tribune May 1, 2002 Eddie D. Reichenbacker Eddie D. Reichenbacker, 66, Seymour, died at 10 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. He had been in failing health for several months. Mr. Reichenbacker was retired from Arvin Industries after 45 years. He was a member of Seymour Christian Church and Sons of American Legion. He enjoyed traveling and gardening. Born Aug. 5, 1935, in Jackson County, he was a son of George W. Reichenbacker and Gladys Anderson Reichenbacker, who both preceded him in death. On Feb. 16, 1957, in Surprise, he married Shirley Allman Reichenbacker and she survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Debbie (Charles) King, Seymour; a son, Gary (Tracey) Reichenbacker, Seymour; a brother, Jack Reichenbacker, Surprise; three grandchildren, Gregory Reichenbacker, Melissa King and Whitney Reichenbacker, all of Seymour; a great-grandchild, Ceara Reichenbacker, Seymour; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded by a brother, Wilford Reichenbacker. The Rev. Randy Roberts and the Rev. Bill Weaver will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Seymour Christian Church.
