Seymour Daily Tribune January 7, 2002 Lewis E. Robbins Lewis E. “Red” Robbins, 93, Scottsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in Scottsburg. He was a retired horse trainer and groomer in Ocala, Fla. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Ocala Veterans of Foreign Wars. Born July 5, 1908, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ernest G. and Gertrude Colvin Robbins. He married Betty Robbins, who preceded him in death. Survivors include a niece, Laurel Rode, Scottsburg; two nephews, James Cutshall, Scottsburg, and Lewis Cutshall, Georgia; and a sister, Grace Cutshall, Austin. The Rev. Gerald Miller will conduct funeral services at 3:30 p.m. today at Stewart Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will follow in Scottsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:30 p.m. until time of service today at the funeral home.
