Seymour Daily Tribune Marietta Ammerman Robertson May 28, 1915 – May 3, 2006 Marietta Ammerman Robertson, 90, Norman, died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Robertson was a lifetime member of Eastern Star in North Vernon, Worthy Matron, a member of Heltonville Baptist Church and WACS in World War II. She was a housewife. Born May 28, 1915, in Jennings County, she was a daughter of Frederick Charles Ammerman and Angela Tremain Ammerman, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 23, 1945, she married Keith Robertson, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra R. (Leonard) Denniston, Norman; two grandchildren, Robert (Laura) Ault and Bill (Sandy) Ault; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Samuel Ammerman and Fred C. Ammerman; and two sisters, Opal V. Kleber and Liela M. Fear. Brother Perry East and Brother Kenny Dalton will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Heltonville. Burial will take place at Mundell Cemetery, Heltonville. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hoosier Upland Hospice, 1500 W.
