Barbara J. Robinson, 65, Salem, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at her daughter's home in Jonesville after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Robinson was a mother and homemaker.
Born March 10, 1941, in Hancock County, Tenn., she was a daughter of Edgar and Lizzie Willis Williams, both of whom preceded her in death. In July 1962, she married David Earl "Jack" Robinson, who died in 1974.
Survivors include four children, Teresa Darkis, Rebecca Stewart and Charles Robinson, all of Jonesville, and David Robinson, Seymour; two brothers, James Williams, Seymour, and Emery Williams, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Michael Begley, Crothersville, Teresa Jean Robinson, Seymour, and Melissa Robinson, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Jimmy Williams; a sister, Betty Williams; and a son, Roger Humphrey.
Randy Smith will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Jackson County or the American Cancer Society.
