Seymour Tribune - August 25, 2009 Steven W. Robinson Steven W. Robinson, 59, Seymour, passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Robinson was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Seymour. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1969. In April 2001, he retired from Cummins Inc. after 31 years of service. He attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering in 2004, after which he became a member of the Indiana National Auctioneers Association. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association, American Legion, North American Hunting Club and the Diesel Workers Union. Steve was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Born in Seymour on June 15, 1950, he was the son of James Frank and Mabel Ilene "Tiny" Durham Robinson, both of whom preceded him in death. On Aug. 1, 1970, in Redeemer Lutheran Church, he married Jan Wehrkamp, who survives. Besides his wife, Steve is survived by his sons, Steven James Robinson and Bradley Wayne (Jennifer Marie) Robinson; grandchildren, Luke Bradley Robinson and Cole Nicholas Robinson; and sisters, Sherry (Don) Fleetwood, Jenny Robison and Nancy (Steve) Champ. Pastor Andrew Currao and Pastor Daniel Lepley will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.
