Seymour Daily Tribune March 11, 2002 Wilma Woodfill-Rodriguez Wilma Woodfill-Rodriguez, 85, Freetown, died at 4:37 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Bloomington Hospital after being ill for two months. She retired in 1979 from Los Angeles County General Hospital, where she worked as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Local 660 (AFL-CIO) in Los Angeles and was a member of Freetown United Methodist Church. She moved to Jackson County in 1991. Born Sept. 26, 1916, in Bryantsburg, she was a daughter of William and Clara Bryant Woodfill. In the 1940s she married Juan Rodriguez, who preceded her in death in 1964. Survivors include a sister, Leona Waggoner, Freetown; two nieces, Eileen (Jack) Goss, Bloomington, and Bette (Jim) Helmerick, Prescott, Ariz.; a nephew, Gene (Barbara) Wingham, Freetown; several great-nieces; and two great-nephews. There will be no funeral services and no visitation. A private burial will take place at Houston Cemetery. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be given to Freetown Untied Methodist Church or Owen Valley Healthcare Campus, Spencer.
