Seymour Daily Tribune May 17, 2002 Larry W. Rollins Sr. Larry W. Rollins Sr., 56, of Brownstown died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Rollins was a member of Tampico Christian Church, was a lifelong country music singer and worked at the Little Nashville Opry for 10 years. He also was self-employed at Larry’s Country Road House (restaurant) for seven years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Born April 8, 1946, in Jackson County, he was a son of Ferd Rollins and Hazel Nicholson Rollins. On Feb. 1, 1969, he married Barbara Maxie Rollins, who survives. Others survivors include a son, Larry W. Rollins Jr., Brownstown; a daughter, Mrs. James (Pamela) Christopher, Brownstown; a grandson, Chandler Christopher, Brownstown; three granddaughters, Allison and Sarah Rollins and Jami Christopher, all of Brownstown; four brothers, Don Rollins and Jerry Rollins, both of Freetown, Fred Rollins, Bedford, and Bill Rollins, Norman; and two sisters, Vona Hutchinson, Norman, and Emma Caswell, Williams. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. The Rev. David Fisher and the Rev. Kenny Fisher will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville, with burial to follow in Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Crothersville Cemetery or Tampico Christian Church.
