Seymour Daily Tribune April 22, 2002 JoAnna Ross JoAnna “Jodie” Ross, 89, Seymour, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour. She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Seymour, and a homemaker. Born Aug. 12, 1912, at Union City, Tenn., she was a daughter of Rosse Ross and Francis Collins Ross and they preceded her in death. On Jan. 26, 1952, she married Robert Stanley Booker and he died in 1993. She is survived by a nephew, Roosevelt McKinney, Memphis, Tenn.; a great-niece and a nephew of Baltimore; a brother-in-law, Charles Booker, Los Angeles; and four sisters-in-law, Catherine Blue and Carla Kelley, both of Los Angeles; LaDonna Armstrong, Crothersville; and Edna Booker, Seymour. She also was preceded by three sisters, Mary Robison, Gladys Davis and Lillie Mae Ross; and brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral Service, Burkholder Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Bethel A.M.E., Seymour.
