Seymour Daily Tribune Robert Lee Runge October 27, 2006 Robert Lee "Bob" Runge, 62, Seymour, died at 5:48 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Runge was an employee of Pantasote for more than 25 years and Aisin U.S.A. until his retirement. An avid fan of all types of sports, he especially enjoyed watching any type of auto racing. NASCAR was his favorite. He also once owned and raced his own drag car. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Born Nov. 13, 1943, in Seymour, he was a son of Roy E. and Lillie E. Eggersman Runge, both of whom preceded him in death. On Jan. 7, 1989, in Dudleytown, he married Rita Joyce Bishop-Lane, who survives. Other survivors include two stepchildren, Cody (Ranae) Lane and Cynthia (Joe) Moberley, Weatherford, Texas; five brothers, Ronald (Judy) Runge, Donald (Donna) Runge, Dennis (Lisa) Runge and Richard (Barb) Runge, all of Seymour, and David (Tonna) Runge, Crothersville; two sisters, Patricia (Dennis) Myers and Janet (Jim) Duggins, Seymour; and three stepgrandchildren, Sydney Ann Lane, Cameron Lane and Justin Moberley, all of Weatherford, Texas. The Rev. Scott Kozisek will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Dudleytown. Burial will take place at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from noon until time of service Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery Endowment Fund.
