Seymour Daily Tribune May 11, 2002 Hilda L. Keith Sage Hilda L. Keith Sage, 86, Seymour, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour. Mrs. Sage was a former employee of HO Canfield and Reliance Manufacturing, both of Seymour. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Seymour, Blue Lodge, Pythan Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, Plastic Pals HO Canfield, Templar Ladies of Seymour Commandery 56, K.T., Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Shrine Guild of America. She had been a resident of Jackson County since 1945. Born Oct. 28, 1915, in Graham County, Kan., she was a daughter of D.L. Keith and Mary Fleming Keith, who both preceded her in death. On Oct. 14, 1945, in North Vernon, she married Clarence H. “Jack” Sage and he died March 6, 1991. She is survived by a daughter, Maxine Hester Duwe, Seymour; two grandchildren, Robert Joe Hester, California, and Janice Elsner; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Keith, Colorado, and Dale Keith, Kansas; three sisters, Lola Acheson, Colorado, Mabel Hunsicker, California, and Ida May Belle Gilbert, Kansas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also was preceded by a grandson, Ramon Duwe; a son, Robert W. Hester; and two brothers, Luther Keith and Claude Keith. The Rev. Bill Weaver will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
