Seymour Daily Tribune May 25, 2002 James L. Schneck James L. Schneck, 69, Little York, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, in Little York. Mr. Schneck was retired from American Can Co. in Austin. He was a member of Little York Christian Church, Little York Masonic Lodge F&AM 512, Little York Volunteer Fire Department, the National Rifle Association and the Washington County Gun Club. Born March 24, 1933, in Louisville, he was the son of Lewis and Mabel Fleenor Schneck, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Nale Schneck, Little York; three sons, Michael Schneck, Louis-ville, Steven Schneck, Salem, and Jeffery Schneck, New Albany; two daughters, Melody Fleenor, Little York, and Sherri Briscoe, Salem; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Greg Shuler and George Trueblood will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stewart Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be at Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family’s choice, through the funeral home.
