Seymour Daily Tribune January 12, 2002 Richard Selby Richard “Rich” Selby, 58, Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at St. Ann’s Hospital, Columbus. Mr. Selby was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was employed by Nationwide Insurance Co. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Seymour, Whitehall Lodge 61 Free and Accepted Masons, Jackson Lodge 146 F&AM of Seymour, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Order of Eastern Star in Seymour, Active Legion of Honor and Grand Cross of Color. Born March 3, 1943, he was a son of Cecil W. and Alice Selby. He married Carol Narcross, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Sean Selby, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Shannon (Eric) Worth, Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Carolyn Selby, Martha Selby and Mary Sheppard; two brothers, John T. (Janet) Selby and Robert W. (Donna) Selby; father- and mother-in-law, Clarence and Elinor Narcross; a brother-in-law, Charles (Linda) Narcross; a sister-in-law, Tara Narcross; a half brother, Cecil H. Barb; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a half brother, George Selby. The Rev. Tad Grover will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Tidd Funeral Home, Hilliard, Ohio. Burial will be in Alton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
