Mary Thompson Sewell
Mary Thompson Sewell, 88, Cortland, died at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour.
Mrs. Sewell was a member of Cortland Christian Church. She retired from Wm. J. Abraham & Sons as a bookkeeper.
Born Aug. 3, 1913, in Cortland, she was the daughter of Holmes A. Thompson and Laura Dawn Clark Thompson. On Sept. 13, 1981, in Columbus, she married Keith Sewell, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ruth Thompson, Cortland, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Alice Thompson, and two brothers, Clark Thompson and Charles Max Thompson.
The Rev. Bill Weaver will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Cortland Christian Church.
