Seymour Daily Tribune Dolores Elizabeth Hageman Siefker May 9, 1917 – July 12, 2006 Dolores Elizabeth Hageman Siefker, 89, Seymour, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown. Mrs. Siefker worked in the offices of Arvin Industries, both in Seymour and Columbus for 27 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid #1, Thrivent for Lutherans, Dudleytown Conservation Club, Indiana Wildlife Federation, and the National Wildlife Federation. She was also a volunteer for Schneck Medical Center and Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge. She graduated from Shields High School in 1935. Born May 9, 1917, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Henry and Lydia (VonDielingen) Hageman, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 23, 1938, she married Oscar Siefker at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Sauers. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1995. Survivors include five children: Jo Ann Hamilton, Greenwood, Dale (Mary Lou) Siefker, Bill Siefker, Kathy (Randy) Brown and Max (Jennifer) Siefker, all of Seymour; eight grandchildren: Ed (Dana) Siefker, Tim (Lindy) Siefker, Tina (Scott) Clair, Monty Siefker, Ben (Amy) Siefker, Brianne (Matt) Miller, Lindsay Brown and Katelyn Siefker; 13 great- grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; four sisters, Luella Schepman, Lowima Schneider and Mildred (Harold) Rahn, all of Seymour and Eunice Hehman, Cortland. Mrs. Siefker is preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Hageman. The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch and Vicar Greg Truwe will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. Burial will take place at St John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Sauers. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Building Fund, Immanuel Lutheran School, Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge, Schneck Medical Center Hospice or donor’s choice.
